How do I pay my registration fees?
Our preferred payment option (at the end of registering) is to ‘Pay at Club’ – You can pay either with card or cash at one of our sign-on days or via direct bank transfer.

How old does my child have to be to play?
Our youngest players must be 5 (or turning 5 during the season) and players can continue playing up to the age of 18.
Does my child have to know how to play soccer?
Our club welcomes all players irrespective of ability. Our coaches support players in developing their skills and most importantly the love of the game.
What does my child need in order to play?
All players are required to purchase Nambour Wildcats shorts and socks from the club.
Players also need to have their own shin pads and soccer boots, which can be purchased from any sports store.
The club provides all new players with a training shirt.
And each season all players are provided with a playing jersey which must be returned at the end of the year.
Will my child be on a team with their friends?
While we try our best to accommodate friend requests teams are filled on a first registered basis.
Teams are also allocated on the number of players required for each team.
Please keep in mind that one of the biggest rewards from playing club soccer is the opportunity to make new friends from other schools in Nambour and we have often seen that the friendships made playing together last for many years.
When is training?
Training days differ for each team and is decided together by the team once they are allocated. It is usually a day and time that is most suitable to the coach and players and generally held at the PCYC.
When are game days?
Game days are held on Saturdays with game times starting from 8.30am. Games are played at various venues around the Sunshine Coast from Noosa to Caloundra. The Wildcats host around 8 games per season at the Nambour PCYC.
Who will be the coach and manager of our team?
Coaches and managers are volunteers and is usually a parent of a player. These roles are decided by the team together at team allocation day.
Will I have to volunteer my time?
The Nambour Wildcats like all other clubs in the association relies on volunteers to run. The main help we require is on our game days when we ask all families to be on a roster to help pack up and pack down the fields or in the canteen. Over the course of a season, you’ll only be required to help out for 1-2 hours.
The other way to help our club is to be a member of our committee. We are always welcoming to people to be a general committee member.
